It is now a very high priced collectible. The painter Titian, otherwise known as <i>Tiziano</i> in Italian, lived from ca. 1485-1576 and is remarkable for his paintings of realistic subject, with dramatic colours. This particular work is now known as <i>Sacred And Profane Love</i>, and was painted ca. 1516.
