This one is a very nice spec for the type, with what looks to be a distinctive and sound green-blueish patina: PROBUS AE24mm 3.54g billon Antoninian/Aurelian (VF, patina, some deposits) AV: IMP C PROBVS AVG CONS II; radiate, consular, wearing decorated trabea with orbiculus on sleeves, holding eagle tipped scepter bust l. REV: CONSERVAT AVG; Sol standing, looking left, right hand raised, left holding globe. EXE: TXXT REF: RIC V-2 352, rated R (rare) Ticinum 3rd officina, 278AD. A quite scarce to rare dated issue minted in honor of Probus's 2nd consulship in 278AD.
Nice.
