That happened to me too with a VCOINS dealer. The dealer said they couldn't find the coin that I paid for. I took dealer credit towards another but more expensive version of the same coin. I paid them the difference. OH MAN!!! It just occurred to me! I fell for the classic "Bait and Switch Scam!" Maybe! It was a dealer in the U.S. I won't post their name. It may have been an honest mistake.
I think you may be waiting too long. November????? One week Tops! Mistakes do happen. Then contact PayPal and VCoins. I'm in the same situation with an Ebay transaction. One week then I request a refund through Ebay.
The following message was posted today on the Moneta Yahoo group: Re: Ancient Coin Art Sun Jan 29, 2017 4:03 pm (PST) . Kind regards, Monique Lagro I am unable to confirm the veracity of this report since I can find no information on the web concerning a death notice or obituary for Charles Schotman.
My $150 refund is now processing through Paypal. I don't know why Paypal can't just deposit it to my account but I guess a few more days to wait for them to "review" the case is not bad.
I don't see any Charles Schotman obituaries in the Netherlands, the word for obituary there is "doodsbrief"
Not sure if this is relevant, but FYI, this message appeared recently on the Moneta_L discussion group: Dear Sir/Madam Sadly Charles [Ancieny Coin Art] passed away on the 11th of December 2016. For urgent matters you can contact me (his wife) at monique.lagro@planet.nl. Kind regards, Monique Lagro
