Only 484,000 were minted the number 484,000 seems likea lot but, in coins that is almost nothing. Because now in days there are around1 billion pennies minted a year. The next most rarest wheat penny is the 1922(no d)(picture 2) which is worth around $600 to $1,000 I really do not know howmany were minted but there still is many of them.
