... like Utah? Different? Here is where the Tea Party types are actually doing some good IMO. This is a 'MUST READ' news item for US bullionists (I think): http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/18/arizona-gold-silver-currency_n_2903742.html >>Privately-minted-coin bill advances in Legislature PHOENIX - The state Legislature took another step this week toward allowing privately minted gold and silver coins to be considered legal tender in Arizona. Proponents told the House Committee on Financial Institutions this would provide a necessary backup if the value of U.S. currency became so inflated as to be useless. The measure, which already has been approved by the Senate, now goes to the full House<<
Arizona SB 1439, The Constitutional Tender Act, was passed earlier by the Senate and has advanced from the House Financial Institutions Committee (on Monday.) Legal doc http://www.azleg.gov//FormatDocument.asp?inDoc=/legtext/51leg/1r/bills/sb1439p.htm&Session_ID=110 Quick thought: I suppose the Governor signing this into law will get the Feds breathing fire ("That's unconstitutional!!!") AND push up the (US) bullion price somewhat, too.
