I suspect you're wrong. But I'm not confident enough to put a lot of money on it.

It's worth noting, I suppose, that there hasn't been a single peep from the likes of MCM offering to buy these at an instant markup. I guess they figure with an order limit of 50 they can easily get as many as they expect to need.

I think the difference is that the UHR eagle was a more iconic design and it was the first so it carried a lot of hype. With that said watching the boards with all the folks saying this one is a dud and they will not buy one it makes me think it might have a potential low mintage as sells will be small, however without a following it will never carry much premium over spot. This one will be interesting to see how it does. I currently do not have the cash to risk this one.

I just placed an order for two coins. I do like the different designs and I'll enjoy them for a few years. Later on, my two sons will have something to pawn or who knows, maybe by then, they will have developed an interest in numismatics.

I went online and the order was received at 12:04 and later confirmed at 12:40. The ease and promptness of the order processing makes me think there may not be a big demand. Oh well, now, if anyone has a bridge for sell in New York, I may be interested...

The Armadillo should have to carry a "WARNING, LEPROSY DANGER " on the reverse ......

Overpriced! Spot plus $400.00. I don't think so.

Nice reverse - IMHO obverse is downright ugly. Without certification it will be wicked inexpensive as bullion in a couple of years.

Each person can buy 50 pieces at max and can also use other relatives name to get more. So I would say in the end. They have to crash the market for this issue soon.

If your numbers are correct, that's a lot of 'jing' going into the mint coffers.......
