Hijack the hijack? a few months ago I was told I hijacked a Morgandude thread commenting on a 81-s Morgan which was not my intention so if you have ideas as what is a hijack I would love to be clearer so I refrain from doing it. Thanks I thought if you post a coin of yours different from thread coin that was hijacking. Please CT elders info. TY
Ya mean kinda like you did by making the comment you did about his avatar ? You are of course welcome to your own opinions on matters. But when it comes to what members choose to use as their avatars and whether they are appropriate or inappropriate, that decision remains the CT admins, and only them. As for "hijacking" a thread. In reality it's pretty normal, so much so that it is completely beyond common. You'd be hard pressed to find a thread where at some point it doesn't go off on one tangent or another. Now granted, all of us should try to keep things on topic, but in most cases it's not a big deal when things go a bit off topic. And in point of fact it's sometimes kinda fun, or at least interesting. At other times it can be downright disconcerting to some, less so to others. And in more rare cases it strays into forum rule violations. Now no harm is done by people saying so and so hijacked a thread, but then most of the time no harm is done by the hijacking either. But when it is needed and or the rules require it, the mods will step in and say so, or take appropriate action if and when called for. Now shall we get back to the topic at hand ?
We were talking about the MS 63 and 64 1907 Indian $10 and some of the other dates, even the common dates going up so much.
While I obviously understand your question, and the reasoning behind it, given what I posted, would such a question even matter ? What I mean is this. The graphs clearly indicate that the entire US market is going up. And, that gold coins specifically and across the board are and have been going up for well over a year now, then the date/mint doesn't really matter.
