I hear that! I wouldn't have made much at those prices.

@Rheingold Is this roll still unopened for a dealer with this paper damage?
Since it's virtually destroyed I would open it immediately.....[/QUOTE]

Soon, I will take pics of the best and worse in the roll.
After the buzz wore off, and looking at the roll again. I can see what @cpm9ball was saying. Possibly not stored properly. The edges sure do look uncirculated though.

Well a bunch of disappointment folks.
I hadn't ever come across an un opened roll of halves before. They were extremely baggy maybe Ms61, though definitely unc.
a few might get a 63 but not worthy of taking pictures of.

you might get some nice toning out of that wrapper, lots of old paper had sulfur or some other substance which can cause insane toning!

You found a couple of keepers which is average for a roll of Kennedys...most are ugly coins which is why they,re so tough to find in higher grades...and very expensive. At least they make great bullion coins. The bright coin looks like a 65 or btr.

Not that they were Keepers, there was one, IMG_2926.JPG with what I think is a planchet flaw, could be a delamination, not sure. IMG_2926.JPG
