Found this rough guy coin roll hunting. Has the memorial stamped on the obverse but shield on the back, thought it was pretty interesting. The coin is in pretty rough shape would there be any value?
Not a mint error. Altered cent. Vise job.. Another Cent was pressed against it.. Evidence is backwards lettering.
Think about it. How could an obsolete die be used in the mint to over stamp a current die? The first thing to do with any potential error is to think about how it could have happened.
