They are a product of ARAMARK which services the "Quick Shop" at the US Mint since the US Mint officially closed there stores around 1994 and contracted the service out to a third party vendor which can sell pretty much anything they want including shredded paper money, coffee cups, star notes and Mint Sets (which BTW, any coin dealer can sell). Folks that have spent $80 will get a very rude awakening to this farce when they try to sell these treasures to a coin dealer. Wanna have some fun?
