Presidential Dollar edge error?

The current presses are single dies and run at around 720 coins per minute or about 12 coins per second. The edge lettering machine runs even faster at around 1000 coins per minute, or 17 coins per second.

I see the surface disruption embedded INSIDE the strike features.

Something slipped and I find it interesting and wonder how such things happen. Actually, I'm more impressed with the 10 X 2:bigeyes: to the 12th it does not.

 

Found two more with exact rim scuzz-
Most be from the mint, right?

 

I think my laptop just died. Trying again from another computer.

I still have a few left left in the wrapper. I found two more with the same marks in the same place. Hopefully I can get the picts up now.

Gotta be from the Mint, Right? Same scuzz/ same location on the rim.
