First, introduce a "collectible" dollar coin series that will see circulation as "lay people" and collectors alike try and assemble sets thereby generating interest in the $1 coin. Perhaps then, a few years into the Presidental Dollar, start to phase out the $1 bill. But, there are many collectors out there (myself included) who like to collect a little of this and a little of that. I wish for example, I could dedicate myself to a Morgan Dollar collection but being a college student (and soon to be a graduate student) and simply can't come up with the funds. For me, the joy of collecting at the moment comes simply from the hunt. I will deffinately assemble a Presidental Dollar collection as they come out, hopefully at face price right out of circulation. It will never be worth anything, but it will be fun. To me, thats whats important.[/QUOTE]
