These are some pretty cool medals. Friend picked up several of these books at a recent estate sale. The presidential medals book appears to have been issued during Kennedy’s term since it’s listed with no end date. Also you can see the next two slots were put in with labels and Nixon doesn’t have an end date for term so I am guessing he was in office when this was in someone’s possession being filled. It was with a few other books from Presidential Art Medals Inc. from what I see they were based out of Englewood, Ohio. The other books were the Statehood Medals and Declaration Signers. What do you think these are worth?
The US Mint offers Presidential Medals in silver and bronze in either 1-5/16" or 3", but I don't know if they have every President available at present. They range in price from $6.95 for bronze to $44.95 for silver (I think). I bought the complete set of 1-5/16" bronze medals from the Mint while George W. Bush was still in office. (They don't issue the medal while they are still in office.) So, the only ones I am lacking are Bush, Obama and that guy with the funny-looking hairdo. Chris
