    Once you beyond the MS-64 grade, it becomes impossible to determine exact grades by number. If you coin is an MS-66, Red, it would a waste of money to pay to have it graded. Ditto for MS-67. There are two words to describe those super high grades,”virtually perfect.” The short of perfect has to be so small that you need at least a 5x glass to see it.

    Then let me break this to you as gently as I can. There were 10,712,525,000 of these 1982 cents minted. If you were to count to that number at a speed of one number a second it would take you just under 343 years. Your cent can count on $1 to $2 from someone who really really needed it, but that’s it, I’m sorry. It’s just a pretty coin among the millions of others out there in that grade.
