How many pre 1900 MS/PF69's exist? I know that there's a 1793 cent and a Morgan in MS69 but I can't think of any others. Do any of you guys/gals know of others?

    rickmp Frequently flatulent.

Have you tried looking a NGC and PCGS population reports? They're easy to find and easy to use.

That is a very good idea that seemed to have slipped my mind. Thanks for bringing that up.

Upon investigating the PCGS population report, it appears they've certified about 16 MS69's and about 20 PF69's. Not a lot, but I was surprised there were even this many.

I can think of a few PR-69s, but I don't recall any MS-69 besides the Morgan dollar. I had the only PR-69 liberty nickel in my hands mid last year. I'm not sure that I agree with the grade (based on modern PR-69s), but it sure was a pretty coin and outside of my budget.
