@lordmarcovan Thank you very much!! Todd does a super job. He really knows his stuff. That 1484 Austrian piece you mention is a future buy for me. That and his big brother from 1486 are classics in early dated coins. I just can't bring myself to buy them at the current prices when they are so common compared to the other coins. Maybe one day. I'll keep posting one to two dates a day. I hope to get to a show where Todd is set up, I have around 40 that he needs to work his magic with. Thanks again for looking and the comments.
A briquet from the Malines mint in the Gelderland duchy. Of all the ED coins, the Briquets are some of my favorites. I wish I could afford nicer pieces.
From the Dordrecht mint in the county of Holland. Note how on this piece the 9 is attached to the 2 in the date.
From the Deutz mint. The description should read I-259a. Per Levinson's book there are two varieties for this coin, medieval "4" or modern "4".
This piece is from the Cervin collection. The date on this is in the inner circle. From the Deutz mint.
This piece is made from copper-billon. From the Ghent mint. I have a nicer piece, needs Todd's magic touch.
