Lots of 2 cent pieces have interesting die cracks. This one, I think, displays a retained cud on the reverse. I trust you error experts will set me straight if I'm using incorrect terminology. This would really be cool if it was in a higher grade. I got this coin for about $9.00 on ebay.
Die cracks not only give coins character but also offer good pick up points for varieties. I picked off this so called 1869 over 1868 LDS (late die stage) from a small ebay picture based on the crack running from rim to date. P.S. I hope you all who have coins at the TGP's now will post the results when they return on this thread.
