He set my coin back down and presented me with a small binder of coins.&nbsp; He asked me if I would like to look through it, of course I would.</p><p><br /></p><p>Flipping through the pages, I could tell he had similar tastes as I do in coins.&nbsp; As I got towards the back one coin just jumped at me.&nbsp; It was a 1964-D Kennedy Half Dollar.&nbsp; The toning on it was absolutely stunning!!&nbsp; I asked him if he was interested in selling it.&nbsp; He told me that he would be.&nbsp; I was prepared for him to throw out a price of around $150.00 or so based on the looks and condition of it.&nbsp; My heart just about skipped a beat when he asked me if he could use it for $25.00 towards the price of the Peace Dollar I was selling.&nbsp; I kind of misunderstood him at first and thought maybe he was asking for the Peace Dollar plus $25.00 from me.&nbsp; So I asked him if that was what he meant.&nbsp; He told me no, he would give me $60.00 cash plus the Kennedy Half.&nbsp; So $25.00 for the Kennedy.&nbsp; I did not hesitate much and accepted his offer.&nbsp; He was very happy with the trade as was I.</p><p><br /></p><p>Here&#039;s the Peace Dollar he walked away with.&nbsp; [USER=75984]@Cascade[/USER] may recognize it.&nbsp; It was an eBay pick that I paid $35.00 for.&nbsp; It has spectacular luster which is what the gentleman and I both liked about it along with the toning.</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]626643[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=full]626642[/ATTACH] </p><p><br /></p><p>Here is the 1964-D Kennedy Half I got plus $60.00 cash.&nbsp; I think I did alright on this one.&nbsp; <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie1" alt=":)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />&nbsp; So this Kennedy cost me -$50.00 which is a bit under the $50.00 limit.
