$20!!! Boom! @Dave Waterstraat... I went fishing in a cull box today. Finally got one!! I love dealers that can't tell between die polishing and a cleaned coin. Good shot at 65
$43 I had hoped to be posting this in the new Buffalo RPM + OMM thread as I bought this as a gamble with only blurry pictures to go on. Nothing jumps out at me at first glance but I am liking it regardless! ....I think I may have caught 38-Disease.
Priced as marked. As far as I can tell, this pawn shop puts stuff out at a 100% markup from what they pay, nearly every time. In this case, 50% of the marked price is... $6.91, precisely the face value of the coins in the box. The lesson here is one we've covered before: never, EVER sell your coins to a pawn shop...
I feel like the replacement is much nicer looking than the incumbent, especially on the reverse. Here are a couple Lincoln Wheat Cents I picked up at the flea market today for $.94 each (bought 16 coins for $15): Edit: Added a couple more from the bunch. Note the cool die crack to the rim on the lower right reverse of the 1935:
I picked this up for 30 dollars. I'm not the biggest fan of the spots in the toning but for 30 bucks I felt like it was a great deal.
Where are the Canadian Collectors at? Credit to @Paddy54 for confirming this was a good purchase. And @SuperDave because I know you'll like seeing this. I consider both of the sets to be Gem BU. Scratches you might see are on the cellophane, these are pretty mark free. There is a small speck on the reverse of the 1967 dollar by the wing that appears to be on the dollar. total price: $31
