Went by the LCS today. They had this for $25. Going back with more money later. :)

Seller and I are really confused as to what happened. He thinks the obverse was struck through grease. The pictures are of the same coin.

But it was worth a shot at a $43 BIN.

Well I didn't lie to you.....I did need the variety .
Plus I did promise C-B-D that I give him a break for awhile, and not tell him when I do cherry pick him.

The tops of the 8 4 and 7 can be seen directly under the rock, just about the entire top of the & can be seen, at the foot left of the 1 there's the remainder of a misplaced one.

Honestly I only care about the ones listed in Cherrypickers. If a TPG won't put it on the holder (because yes, 99% of buyers NEED to see it written on plastic), then I don't care much about it.

What I was referring to was the post by you followed immediately by @TypeCoin971793 the seller about him being cherrypicked. LOL.

As far as cherrypickin' I do it all the time as much as I can. ;)

I don't really pick to profit, as I'm a collector not a dealer.....so if I had more than 1 of the same variety yes I use it as leverage. But mostly just to add to my hoard .

I just purchased this for $34.05. I believe it is the 15th known, and worst example of the NC-2. But I need somebody else to also come up with that attribution to confirm it and take it out of the category of wishtribution.

    1800 Obv.jpg 1800 Rev.jpg

I also believe it to be the latest die state known with the rim break fill extending even further into the obverse field than just to the earlier die break. A bit less corrosion would make the attribution significantly easier.
