I appreciate the candid feedback. I'm not too worried about it. At $24 I'm really not that much in the hole and I'm sure someone out there will find it attractive.
That is 100% NT. Congratulations, with that toning it will sell for a lot. In holders such as albums and whatnot the rim is what tones the first. -SC
Seller's pictures. I got this one for just under $30 shipped. Although not terribly rare (R.3), this is an amazing example of what was surely the terminal die state for this pairing.
Let's say I was pleasantly shocked when 8 other bidders had run it up to $23 and I got it for way under my max bid. I guess I was the only one who spotted the goldfish.
??? I see some polish lines on top of the head, but nothing special... EDIT: What's that in the mintmark location?
TC, it's a VAM-3o3 aka Goldfish Clash. The mint mark location is just a contact mark. I'm always doing what you just did, looking for the missing S.
I don't see any clash marks that look like a goldfish. What I saw in the mintmark location was a faint O. What is a missing S?
$20 for a nice type set hole filler. Coin has a real nice strike and some decent luster, may be a candidate for a quick bath. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
