A piece of history for $48. The British propaganda version of the German Lusitania medal of 1915.

Seriously. I hit a pawn on eastern last Saturday and had to debate getting a $225 bag of 92 silver dimes. Normally an easy NO, but it had a '64 proof hiding in the rubble. It was probably bait... that's what I told myself anyways.

    NGC doesn't list the price.

I actually got two of them for a dollar. Both came back MS67 RB, top Pop at NGC. IMG_1285.JPG IMG_1288.JPG IMG_1492.JPG

True statement. I should have included it was ULTRA/DCAM with spotless mirors and devices. I just don't trust my judgement yet with differentiating between PF63 and PF69. I also learned that I should bring my loupe when I visit the hood banks:pompous:

I have seen a couple nice 50's wheat toners on ebay anywhere from $100-$400. There was one, a 1953 I think in 66, that the guy was asking in the $300's for and he wasnt budging. At 50 cents that coin should return a really nice profit regardless. All about finding the right buyer.

Sellers pics - I got this 141/307 McClellan patriotic for $41, which is about average for an AU/UNC example of this common token. What made the sale for me was the early Littleton Coin Co envelope - what a neat piece of numismatic nostalgia. s-l1600 (1).jpg s-l1600 (2).jpg s-l1600.jpg
