Pretty generic coins, but still a good deal.

This The last coin on my mind on my 50 mile drive to the show ...as I still have raw uncirculated specimens from rolls purchased years ago.
So what would you give for and 2nd gen PCI green slab with an 1943 P/P variety noted on the slab......and its reverse is at least >10 degrees counter clockwise......rotated.....not to mention the rich target toning around the obv. rim.....& Full steps!
64 on the slab ....I'm thinking at least a +/☆ and if not a point higher grade.
    Definitely A PQ....coin... $12. 20240609_143345-01.jpeg 20240609_144627.jpg 20240609_141212.jpg 20240609_141948.jpg 1717958294623_1717958222655_20240609_143422.jpg 1717957391950_20240609_141511.jpg

That's very nice. Does "inherited" qualify as "under $50 purchase"? I just visited my lock boxes and started going back through everything. I had to rent TWO bank boxes, and still they barely all fit. At first I was just overwhelmed with the volume. A couple of days ago I brought some back home and started going back through them. I've got some seriously BU Peace dollars that I overlooked because Morgans are my thing. Wow. I am blessed with such a gift from my father. I may go broke sending off coins to TPGs. I didn't realize at first how weakly Peace dollars are struck compared to Morgan dollars. I was pleasantly shocked with the quality he had. They had been locked up for 50 years before I laid eyes on them. I'll share some later on when I learn how to take a decent photo.

"they have to be something that YOU bought" as defined on post #1 so I guess not. Otherwise I'd have a lot more to post! Grandpa had some cool coins.

Here's one I bought 5 years ago for $12. I had just discovered that the 1899 reverse type was used in 1900 in SF and I was cherrypickin'. Pretty badly damaged though. Within the past couple weeks I determined that two die pairs were used on these (see my thread), looked at it again, and it's the less common pair! Nobody geeks out on this stuff but me... :) 1900-S_10c_DiePair2_raw.jpg

I've found nothing but a "JBH Coins" on FB. Probably just a guy that had at least part of his collection collection slabbed and paid to have it labeled as such.. but I could be wrong could turn out to be a somebody, in that case I would have expected to find more about it online :D
