Please guess the grade of the 1943/2-P Jefferson Nickel shown below. I have attached a poll for you to cast your vote and you may select up to 3 different things: the numerical grade, 5FS or Not FS, and + grade. If you don't think the coin is a legitimate 1943/2-P, please select "Other and explain in comments."

I went with 66+ (NOT FS due to the smush under column 3 - although I have seen some similar pieces that were graded as FS, so anything's possible.)

    Super coin.

Larry, you know that is a $2,500 price guide coin?

I'll go 66. I did not put 5 full steps because, as mentioned, there is a small defect under column 3. But on a good day...

Wow. I didn't look it up but I could see you having one. You always have quality stuff. I'm probably a point high.

MS 66 5FS….quite mark free and lustrous….there is a bit of concern under the third column but I think it just passes for the 5 steps

I would like to get a few more responses before I do the reveal. I might let this go another day or two.

65 but I’m sorry I’m not seeing 5 steps. The parts of the steps it has though are strong.

Is the wheel mark on his shoulder?

I looked under a loupe for over 30 minutes, there is no wheel mark.

Is there a area with minute change in color at an angle anywhere on the Obverse?
