Here's a couple I made today. 1878 8 Tail Feather Morgan Dollar. $30.00 from a local pawn shop. And this stunning 1964 Kennedy for $6.50 The surfaces are very frosty with very few contact marks. Most of the dark spots are frost breaks.
Nice N clash! I would buy every example like that one for $30. I'm assuming you've already figured out the VAM number..
Yeah, I gave it it's own thread. I attributed it as VAM-14.1a, I was really hoping for a VAM-9 though. Correct reverse wrong obverse.
Good morning from the Middle East lol, I believe it is because the coin is not truly secure in the holder. Henderson the reason the coin is upside down.
Here is something that I bought on eBay and then traded for some coins that I really liked better. I made the trade with a local B&M. I bought this 1951-D Jefferson Nickel in MS-66 5 Steps in a small ANACS holder. I paid $35.59 for it in an auction. I was not too thrilled with it and so I took it to one of my favorite B&M shops and made a trade with the dealer. I traded it straight across for the following: 1955 Proof Set in the original box. A GEM 1955 Washington Quarter, which I think came from a Mint Set. A 1968-S Proof Kennedy Half Dollar with a re-punched S mint mark. And finally this 1999 Susan B. Anthony Dollar coin with attractive toning. So all of those cost me $35.59 in the end.
