It looks like the Obv. was messed with and it's not the prettiest dime but it is a 1920 FSB for $7.00 IMG_8010.JPG IMG_8008.JPG

What? That's great for you, but should be embarrassing for the shop owner.

If not for the damage I would never have touched this for the $27.84 + $4.80 shipping. IMG_8094.JPG IMG_8095.JPG

This is a very nice MDS S-237 R3. If you are a collector, I congratulate you. If you are a dealer, you have a customer in me.

I already had two 1919 Lincolns.

The first was definitely cleaned. It's sitting in a manila envelope, hoping for it to pick up some toning and look less harsh. It will probably be in there for a few more years.

Its replacement is probably cleaned, but it is more borderline. The color is more natural. However, the luster just doesn't move the way I expect, and the fields look a bit harsh. I still have my doubts about this one.

This is their $23 replacement. Although it has a pale color, it seems natural. The luster cartwheels the way I expect it to. Now it takes over as my primary representative for this year.

I just got home from my Coin Club’s monthly show. I didn’t really intend on buying anything, but I picked these up for $50 each. This is my first Bust Quarter, they’re tough to find and when you do, they’re expensive! 485D70ED-8683-4E67-8538-D68FACDFEF2C.jpeg 01AFABCC-D40D-41F6-AAF0-2F104F588B9C.jpeg C64651C5-6A95-4C63-9D0F-1FD0100E2DFC.jpeg E5F820B2-6A06-418F-B179-01CB08111CA7.jpeg
