This is the first time since I was a kid to work with a Capital plastics holder. Does Capital use universal screws? I’d start by checking the manufacturer’s site, though maneuvering it will drive yourself nuts.
Awesome that should be fun! If I ever get my 7070 finished I think I will transfer them to this Capital holder!
1871 3CN TDO They have problems, but the 1880 has a mintage of 21000 and the 1889 has a mintage of 18125. I could not pass them up.
Wizard has them at an extra cost ,but well worth the money as over time the plastic screws tend to break. Call them and ask....as you'll go nuts trying to find them on the site.
Here's what I am talking about....now realize I am a big fan of Capital holders. See images.... Plastic screws tend to break see screw heads and threads ,they can turn yellow! Yup....they may yellow into an Amber like color ,however that doesn't mean all in the holder will turn that color ,so if you're the particular type that may disturb you. Then take heed....and up grade to the alum screws. The medal ones are larger but I like the clean look.
I would of pulled the trigger in a ♡ beat ! Again a series that is feast or famine.....high mintages nice specimens low mintages that culls are hard to find. There are some wicked clashes and die cracks
I kinda had it pegged right at that mark, actually. I'm better at cherrypicking than I am at grading, admittedly, so I'm happy to have been relatively close.
