(Likely) 19th-Century 90% silver dime blank with straight clip and planchet striations. $30 I bought this from Bill Fivaz, and he said it tested 90% silver.

FS-2S-1852-301 Repunched date 1852/2 Inverted 2 seen under 1 First discovered in the 1990's few have been found I tag this as an R- 7 Due to the rarity of the variety and the condition of the op 's coin. < Sweet Find > This coin variety in uncirculated condition is a $15,000/$20,000 coin which I believe it would surpass those figures at auction. @Burton Strauss III
The highest one graded is an xf..... and this one is pretty close to vf/xf grade range. I'm sure this is off most members radar , as to the rarity of this specimen. The more I've researched this I can see the op coin bringing honestly in the 8 to $ 10,000 price range.....that said yes it is one of the top pop cherry picks so far in 2019.
I just completed a GTG thread about this coin. Purchased it raw at the Allentown/Bethlehem show in December for $2. Grading fees were an additional $18.
The owner wanted $100 for this coin and $150 for a spiked chin 1804 half cent in xf40 pcgs and I told him I'd give him the 150 for the spiked chin if he would sell me the California fractional for $50 and he took it! I couldn't believe it. Both were a great price at the price quoted and so this one hits the nail on the head at 50.
