1804 half cent plain 4, no-stem reverse ($45 from my LCS), need to work on my picture game... any tips? I am thinking distilled water, xylene and verdicare but am leary of acetone... If I could figure out the secret to photographing these I would try to show the impeccable details that persist in spite of the corrosion.

Bought a bag of $35.00 face value misc silver coins from an older lady. I gave her CoinFlation values less 10%. These two I felt were the best two of the batch ;)

A guy on Craigslist was selling 3 of these large cent Eliasbergs for $100 total. I was brand new to collecting and didn't know much, and he was an older guy out in the country who didn't know what they were, so we were both ignorant during the sale. After some research, I quickly learned what I had. Just sold my 2nd one last week on ebay. This one is my keeper....for now....

You know, like Barbers and Seateds and ancients and Peace Dollars... :p

So a buddy had 5 of these NORFED liberty dollars priced as generic silver rounds. I let him know they have nice premiums and he was thankful so he gave me one and a nice Morgan round for under spot at $35 as a thank you and adjusted prices on the other anniversary liberty dollars he had
