I bought these for face value at my old job back in the day. 2001 D nickel struck on 2001 P cent (6 cent) 2002 D Quarter missing obverse clad layer 1998 P KHD broadstruck and double struck.
Sheesh this one is an early strike. Not much to go on for VAM but I think I got it. It's a VAM 75. Doubled date is a match. Medium S Mint mark with doubled diagonal shaft in lower loop and filled upper loop. R5, not bad.
I just won this one for $13.88 including postage. While certainly a low grade, it is a S-201 in it's terminal die state and a late stage even within that terminal state. This is a comp from Heritage of the latest stage of this die state they have. As you can see, the coin I just obtained is well beyond this die stage of the terminal Die State. The Die State Comp in Noyes is somewhere in between these with the swelling only encompassing D ST though the AME swelling is comparable. The variety was downgraded to R4+ after Breen (R5) and prior to Noyes.
These sellers pics are horrible, so when the coins arrive I will take better photos. The Anacs ATB was 7.00 and the MS 67 PL NGC was 14.99.
