I say good deal. Now you have two proof-like sets ;) edit: well, at least you have two mint sets. I don’t remember how prooflike your others are.

Wanted a set in a capital holder and they got to run like $12 for a set as such.
So the holder is worth at leaset $5! No other bidders bid on it. :)

Score!! Nice cameos on the animals! I love the simple and uncluttered designs of these Canadian coins.

That's the look!!! I need a Barber Quarter and Half with this look for my Type Set. Both coins are tough to find with eye appeal and budgeted money. I'm expecting to pay up a little for the right ones.

Can’t blame you. I love capital holders. Now you have original packaging and a great display set. Can’t go wrong! They are beautiful coins.

Accidental cherrypick = didn't know it was a rare variety till I got home and opened up the book. The so-called "5-legged buffalo." Paid $15, I think. Valued at $1000.

Garlicus Debt is dumb, cash is king.

NGC Book value is $550. Personally, I don't see the interest in this variety and I would flip it ASAP. Then again, I assume that since you were happy with getting it as a "regular" coin, no harm keeping it, but why not take the profit and get another, and then some others for your collection? But that's just my opinion.

    Congrats on the cherrypick.

Hmm, maybe I was looking at PCGS price guide... or 65 pricing? I can't remember. But whatever, it's a nice score.

I used NGC's cert verification and that's what came up.
Hey, still a nice pick. And whether you keep it or flip it, it is a good looking coin.

Picked this up off a friend. 1885O.jpg
Hadn't bought any US silver in over a year and within a week I end up with 2 silver dollars.

This isn't a strong for the grade coin, but the $45.00 price tag I was quoted sure made my wallet fly open.
