Yes, they make it very interesting. Being a history buff it's double the pleasure.

You have to have MS Excel in at least the same version or newer than mine.

Does anybody have BOTH the 1st and 2nd Editions of David Akers 1907-33 Gold book ?

Besides being in hard cover, I'm wondering if the 1st edition has commentary that was left out of the 2nd edition.

This is a new addition, bought for me for Christmas by my in-laws. They knew I collect Peace Dollars. (Well, "collected" as I finished the collection earlier this year.) Regardless, I thought it was very thoughtful and I can always do some learning, so I am eager to learn a bit more about the history and the series in general. peace dollar guide.jpg

Roger is a great author and he shows up on various message boards like CT from time-to-time.

Not into Peace Dollars but if it's like Bowers' books on Silver Dollars and Double Eagles, it's a winner ! :D

If I posted pictures of my library this thread would be several hundred pages, or more.

Capthank, you need to re-angle that photo and also have the anti-shake feature on.

Anybody able to help here ?

I have located a 1st Edition but it's expensive...don't want to buy it if it isn't worth owning vs. 2nd Edition.
