i LOVE this note!!!! 1988 is my birth year and 2 is my favorite number.. super awesome find i am jealous!!
I would throw this one back. It comes from a run of 1,920,000 which is a larger run and 11,520,000 were printed from that district in 2006. The strong fold down the middle also takes away from any Eye appeal. It is a $100 not a $1 so unless it is in CHU or close to it or it comes from a rare run I would not hold on to it. IMO Derek
I found this one the other day in my till. It is the lowest serial number I have found myself. I started noticing that a lot of star notes have a zero or two at the beginning of the number run, but I don't know why. Matt
Eric, check the series date again. The only US currency with series date 1976 is a two dollar bill. The 10 dollar denomination went from series 1974 to 1977. Also, include a photo, or serial number and condition if you want an estimate on value.

i managed to bring *most* of my star notes to work with me today. i've been collecting/hoarding them for maybe 6 months now. usually, i stay away from anything larger than a single unless it is in especially good quality or old or rare, so most of this will be singles. these are all from circulation. singles: 1963 * that i left at home 1969C G...* 1988 E...* 1988A H...* 1995 L...* 1999 C...* x2 2003 A...* 2003 E...* 2003 E...* (160K) 2003 F...* 2003 G...* x2 2003 K...* 2003 L...* 2003A B...* x4 2003A B...* (320K) 2003A C...* x5 2003A E...* (320K) 2003A F...* x3 2003A J...* x3 2003A K...* x4 (640K) 2006 B...* x7 2006 B...* x4 (640K) 2006 D...* (640K) 2006 F...* x6 2006 F...* x4 (640K) 2006 G...* x8 2006 J...* x3 2006 J...* (640K) 2006 K...* x4 2006 L...* x3 2009 A...* x6 2009 A...* (640K) 2009 B...* x2 2009 D...* x2 2009 G...* (640K) also some fives: 2001 CL...* 2006 IA...* (640K) and a twenty: 2009 JD...* (640K) that comes up to a total of 94 stars i think. i will fill in the rest from home later today to get a full total.
$100 Star Found this one the other day. What is different, it has a "horse" seal on the back and some of the front printing is on the back of the note. Anyone know anything about the horse seal? Kinda cool
Spender. Sorry but there were just way too many 2006 $100 *'s printed, especially SF district. I could pickup CHCU versions of that note you have from my bank all day.
ATM and change for the day I received this at the ATM and the 2006 dollar in change. Serial number is fun... Interesting for the day! -L
Found this baby recently in an ATM withdrawal. I would grade it Unc 61. A little better than an AU, but not quite Choice. My best find ever was a 2004 $20 with serial GL 00066600 * in Gem Uncirculated. Sold on eBay for $101. I lost the photos of it. I've been trying to contact the buyer to get some photos, but no luck. eBay's archive have long since been erased.
