    Pretty nice 1955 S Penny.

Thanks. The story behind it is.. Some years ago the Michigan Masters Numismatic Service folks used to attend a small commercial coin show near me in Michigan. This is before the Company moved to Florida and dropped the Michigan from their name. One time I took that 1955 S Lincoln with me and asked if they had ever made any sample slabs. The owner (Bob) replied that they never had. I showed him the cent and asked if he would make one for me, no grade or warranty. He said he would and refused any payment. A week later it came in the mail to me.

Interesting. Not the strongest graders on the shelf - I have a 3CS they graded VG8 that's actually VF25 or VF30.

    What year was it?

Here's a style that hasn't been posted yet. I bought it a few years back because it actually looks to be an accurate grade! Big holder though, and kind of cumbersome.

My inventory says they slabbed it in August of 2012.

Here is my latest arrival. Somewhat special as they were given about at the World Money Fair held in Berlin, Germany.

Get that out of that PVC flip!

It's sealed in that flip and has been since the 1980s, so I imagine it can't be that bad. Either way, the flip here is more special than the coin, so no point of removing it.

Here's another obscure slab: Compugrade. They were in business only in 1991.

Please don't... there are children present who would require a decade of Psychotherapy...
