The "G" represents the Jewlers name, and I just can't remember, I have it all down on paper here some where along with the address in San Frranciso. He did a few and this one is rare. I'll dig it up and let ya know.

I pretty sure his name is 'Gray" on Merchant St. in San Francisco. The image on the obverse represents lady Liberty if ya can believe it. I'm not sure what this guy thinks a lady looks like, but this one is not what come to my mind. LOL

Great coins as usual Mark. I don't think I've seen the Antillies example before. Did you pick it up recently?

Hi Bruce, yes I picked it up about a month ago. That photo doesn't do it justice at all, it has to be one of the nicest toned coins I have seen in a LONG time. If you remind me or I remember I'll bring it with me to show you when we go to the Baltimore show. It really is that sweet. I picked it up from an awesome dealer I came across on the internet, VERY nice people. I have been getting quite a few coins from them lately.

    Thanks Bruce!

This is a really bold example of this variety and it's listed as common "not rare" yet I just don't see them around. Either I'm looking in the wrong places or the folks that have em don't wanna sell em, who knows? I just thought I'd show this one.
