Ever time I see one

 

Got this Nickel.. It's like my 3rd 1940 find recently but this one with scratches

 

Looks like it got killed and died twice in it's life time,
yes,
you could say it ...
Doubled-Died.

 

One orange painted cent .. oh wait, I mean a mint error. Also I get a lot of 2018s. One pictured. In another thread someone just saw one.

 

Got some change from the store came across a 1966 penny with state of being flat. I thought it was a pretty neat find.

 

matter of fact that picture makes that 1974 D look like a DD on the date. I might just have to fish it out of the pile I threw it on and take a look .. although it's probably just the lighting.

 

Got a 44 wheat in change today when I bought a cheeseburger

 

52.years old

And look, it’s Full Ramps (conversely from Full Steps) haha

 

I know some posters don't get many 2018s. I do ...



and some earlier ones. Hey, Look. a 1955 D Doubloon Die @paddyman98
and a 1964 D with a fuzzy beard !! That must be a MINT ERROR.

 

A few from the last couple days

 

Looking at pocket change, sometimes I never realized how old it is. In these 3 cents one is 48, 42 and 39 years old.

I wonder how many states, bulked up in the bottom of purses, coin jars, etc these have been through ?

 

Picked this up in my change

It has good luster in hand, but now has seen some hefty circulation dings and wear.
Put it in a flip and went in the Washington quarter jar and into the dark abyss.

 

I always look at the wear pattern of the drummer's sleeve and also the metal on the side of the drum that holds the skin down to determine if I will keep it for a while longer.

My eyes were fooling me and two 1980s slipped in
