    Thanks for reposting the source. Your write up is where I first read about the T/W slabs and that was in 2014 when I read that. Knowledge is power.

    Googling the governor' name proved to be quite an interesting read. Don't believe I would of let this one go....

    I was very surprised when I got it, I got it from a member here selling nickels and I thought the batch I bought were all env. Damaged but this one turned out to be much prettier than I thought!

    Another raw war nickel I found on E-Bay. It was that same brownish color all over the coin when I got it. I dropped it in a acetone/alcohol bath and some funk came off. Maybe need to soak it a little longer.

    Found this one wrapped in some plastic for a good price. The reverse has some serious die polishing going on. At first I thought it had been whizzed.

    A 61' Philly just pulled from the cellophane. IMG_0001_1.JPG IMG_0001_2.JPG I swore this set was a proof for the longest time.
