Right on the money! 64FS, I don't why, but the total hue of the coin does not show up in my photo. It's got a red orange hue. Tried both halogen and florescent.
The closest I could find was this RPM-3 " 1942-P RPM-003 Description: P/P Southwest Population: 8 Markers: UVC-012 DMR-007 Stage A: EDS (unconfirmed) Stage B: Die crack from K-12 to K-6 through Left side of mintmark – MDS Obverse is MDS Stage C: Reverse and Obverse are LDS Reported by: Unknown"
Thanks I guess they are easy to find compared to the 50D in FS, at least that's what i think I've heard. On my day off on Wednesdays, I go down to the coin shop for a few hours to shoot the breeze. Both my 1950 and 1950D's are pretty ordinary in the steps. Kinda like finding an '83 with FS,Hard to do. I even bought a souvenier set online to get some steps on my 83s couldn't do it, not in the raw.
No to each....just been collecting for about 50 years now. And have two complete sets of Jefferson's MS and Proof.
No I wouldn't sell an old ANACS slab. In fact I buy them any chance I get if they have a coin I'm interested in .
