It's not your typical coin book. What I read so far the myths and facts are interesting, most of all it's not boring. Did you know the real 1913 Liberty Head nickel was used in an episode on the show Hawaii Five O. True

Buffalo nickels where abuse by to many people. A good eye at times can get you a hidden mint mark. :)

They were complete, all XF or better and most of the 62-95 are AU+ and toned nicely. Already pulled the ones I have holes for. Picked 'em at my local honey hole pawn shop.

New member here. Just posted a 1964 cent with questions and now here's a 1987 P CM150217-01082115.jpg CM150217-01424834.jpg CM150216-20521507.jpg nickel with a very specific question as to whether the damage found on the word "FIVE" on the reverse side of this nickel is a minting error or not???

If you don't mind, how much did you pay?

I had a honey hole pawn shop in the metro I used to live in and, as an example, got a complete WLH 16-36 PDS set for $499 (grades AG-F) and a complete Buffalo set for $299 (with VF+ 14-D and 14-S).

    Honey holes are the best!

$30 total, $20 for the set with the War Nickels and $10 for the later one. Yes, the HH I get mine from dont ever go thru the coins, just buy/sell based on melt values.
