    I like the "raw" one better--appears to have more detail, and the color is nicer (though the photos might be a factor there.)

    If I do get 1858 it will have to as good as this one.
    But if the Pcgs one is selling when my cash flow back it's mine. Key date like this should be graded

    :)

    @jj00
    What one would you have graded. Dollar is a no brainer and Half dollar. After this said what would you pick.

    :)

    grade them? ... you're gonna remove them from their original home and try to upgrade them by putting them in a new plastic home?!!

    I may see if there struck well and add the Dollar and Half dollar to my 1964 year set but only if MS / SP 67+ Cameo ?? Most likely A show box frame.

    ;)

    ... anyway ...

    I love your cool 1964 proof set ... (oh, "please" click-on the photo => you'll be taken to amazing coin-heights!!)

    arrrghh ... sorry, apparently 1964 was one of my bad photo-years?

    => anyway jello, I hope that you're feeling okay today ... I'm feelin' pleasantly drunk (*awesome*)

    Cheers, mate

    If its a PL set I wouldn't grade any, not $ worthwhile if you want to sell after, they just don't bring in the $$.
    If not a PL set, generally wouldn't be worthwhile unless you think they had a chance at MS66 or higher or if you got a real good deal on grading. (I'm pretty sure the guy that paid for grading of my MS65 Red Cameo wasn't too thrilled with the $1.50 I bought it for.)
    Or if they have a chance of a SP grade as you also mentioned.

    I'll PM you with some exceptions you can look for.

    Still haven't forgotten this thread Angelo, but I lack the time to properly image the large Canadian coppers I picked up at FUN. Soon..........:)
