Hit the Canadian Prooflike Jackpot again today, picked up a 1957 set for melt (no original cardboard, though, unfortunately):
1937 Canada 25 Quarter 25C PCGS AU-58 , Certificate #35989862 interesting colors. I bought it off Ebay was priced at $125.00 to my best offer $65.00
My New Brunswick tall and short 6's. I would like to add the Half Cent if I could ever find one that I can afford
I've always considered the bust side on Canadian coins to be the reverse. That is consistent with how the Canadian Mint packages their coins. Why do the TPGs slab these backwards?
So the Canadian Mint is slabbing them backwards? I guess the same as the ATB etc. US quarters. Washington is still the obverse but not many care.
Picked this up today, I'm pretty sure it's the Prooflike/Specimen (with shoulder fold) version (not the business strike.) Anyone inclined to agree with me?
Well, this is technically not a Canadian coin, when it was struck/ but since Newfoundland is a Province of Canada (since 1949) I will post it, AV Two Dollars 1882-H Heaton Mint Queen Victoria Newfoundland
