1892 Twenty Five Cents, mintage of 510,000

 

I picked this up today for $2 over spot. Normally I wouldn't buy but certain bullion coins. However this one IMHO the designer hit a home run with bases loaded !
I do have a fondness for birds, Owls especially except the one who comes around at 2 am getting my dogs into a barking frenzy .
This coin rev. design is unreal in hand the feathers are awesome . The images don't do justice .

I got my 1963 Canada Quarter PCGS PL64 today in the mail. no pics yet, but I did get the PCGS pic...



looks even better in person. where it has the lightest yellow it has a mirror reflection.

I also posted this coin on " Coins And Canada " web site, and was told this will be a new RPD . We know for sure the 8 & 9 have been re-punched and I think the 3 too .
I was also told it could of been punched in the Hub and the die too ...

 

This beauty came yesterday and the 8, 9 and 3, have all been Re-Punched .
