Check out that toned 10 cents...1965 Canada mint set. sellers pics... Ebay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1965-Canada...LzBMhe3jwWc4wbgKetlBA%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
Congrats, S-Yoda => that's a cool 1965 set (all I have is this homemade baby) ... => I merely put some proof-like examples into an old empty RCM box (click on t)
Oooops, in my previous post I posted incorrect picture for the 1943 Tombac that was 'ex. J.D. Ferguson'; so let me correct this operator error. == == I no longer collect coins but there are some that have to remain in my "legacy".
@stevex6 check this beauty out... Canada toned 1953 25 cents PCGS-MS-65 sellers pics link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1953-Canada-25c-PCGS-MS65-Color-Toned-Colorful-Toning-/221909118021?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=Ye90q0svu%2Bb5mja2Tpg3ZEzsy5c%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
S-yoda => my 2013 Charlton catalogue states $135 for an MS65 1953 No-strap 25 cent piece and you scored it for $103.50 (plus shipping) ... an acceptable purchase, especially when you consider the sweet toning!! (congrats) ... ummm, ya still haven't figured-out how to post your own photos, eh? c'mon man!!
The $103 auction is in US dollars and Charlton is in Cdn(1.3 X). Always be careful about looking at Ebay auctions and comparing to Charlton or Trends .. 2 different currencies and both published prices are full retail.
thank you for your concern. on this coin... I had to have it for the toning. I was gonna go as high as $130.00 but stop there. I can't wait to get in my hands. hopefully before this next coin show next Friday in Las vegas at The Orleans to show it off.
Beautiful coin !! I do agree with @Bill in Burl I can see this bring some good resale!!! Toning is very Good and in right auction us never know Gem !
