Hey remounting many coins is often a wise route. I found that many of remounted had various hidden problems not obvious in their original holders. Good move! Great coin!!

Am I wrong to be very cautious of colorful toned coins (especially those which are less than 20 years old). The Canadian coin referred to is old enough to have natural toning, but....I know that many coins can be "toned" on an oven burner, then sold for 10x their original value. Especially true of bright copper coins. How does one know???

on this cent I do not know if it is NT or AT. hoping for NT. well this coin only cost me $32.00. I am even thinking that it was even cleaned at one point. I do like this toning. thank you for your opinion. I do understand your concern. I am much more cautious on toned Canadian quarters and even more so on 50 cent pieces.

Huntsville you either have to drive 100+ miles or wait till we have our quarterly coin show. That's one bad thing about Alabama if not football or NASCAR and drinking your SOL.

Think the furthest one I went to was about 75 miles but that was unusual for me, most are in the city or a short drive outside. Makes it really easy to spend money ;)

The one I go to is in Dalton, GA, 100 miles there and back. It's a good size show, so well worth it and the trip mostly skips traffic.
