Thanks Angelo & yes I've picked up quite a few in the last couple weeks, here's another, a 1900 Canada Five Cent, small date oval 0 variety. edit: not sure what I did there, photo looks a bit like a photo negative...ah well, still a nice coin.
This is a Coin club pick up from last Wednesday night. I won this out of our auction. Whitman Canadian small Cents 1920- 1964 album. i paid $18..not sure if that was a good deal or not. No 1922,23,24,25 all the other coins are there. Are there any errs to look for??
Nice pick up Eng! The coins and canada site lists most major varieties and a lot of minor errors/varieties so likely your best bet if you want to check them http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php
The only one I got. I picked this one up under a month ago and will send to PCGS next month. I got it because the Victoria portrait. Im thinking a Solid VF with a sunny chance of XF if I get lucky. chris
Hi Eng => wow, that's a pretty cool 1920 => 1964 Small-Penny album (or 1969 in your case) ... Ummm, did you buy it "loaded"? (I mean, did it already have the coins in it? ... not, were you drunk/loaded when you bought it) I have a similar collection ... man, I use to find a sweet uncirculated cent every year and pop it into that same type of album (oh, but my album merely had blank holes without dates, but I collected the same thing as your album => 1920 to date, 2012) ... Yup, at that time my collection grew at a pace of one-coin-per-year!! => but I it was good times!! (I use to love it when the new pennies arrived every year!!) Cheers, my West Coast friend
Thanks Steve, this whole set(expt. 22,23,24,25) was in a auction at my coin club, i'm working on the nickles too!!
