One I have seen in American catalogs are 65-350.00 dollars . Raw was the low price high price were graded Ef -MS 62 I would make a offer if you can.
here is a 1978 pennie i found on a pile in a flea market ,it has doubling on canada and date a leafs ..also looks like struck through on beads ,or possible weak strike
Obverse looks like it may be pitted, if it is, that would steer me off of; not sure of the variety? narrow 9 wide date maybe, but like you said there are lots & I'm nowhere near being up on them.
yessssssssss => that's a winner!! Nice new pick-up, JJ ... 108 years old and only 350,000 minted (what is the grade? ... EF, AU, MS?) cheers
Thanks guys! The dealer I bought it from at the coin show & I thought it would be about an EF45. I showed it to a couple of the other dealers at the show & they put it at least AU50; so we may have been a little tough on it.
Not sure if you saw this one Steve... I posted it in the error forum... https://www.cointalk.com/threads/rare-canadian-error-type.247883/#post-1936747
I might be a bit low on that AU; thought there was wear above the ear but more I look at it I'm second guessing it, the fields look clean too.
I don't have many Canadian coins, but here are a couple things: 1939 1 Cent - PCGS MS64RD: 1968 Uncirculated Set from the Royal Canadian Mint:
