Yeah, I have several gorgeous toned small cents, but that one may in fact take the cake. I just wish I could take really good pics like some of the pros on here!
I was able to find three of these 2012 Canada Magnetic Last Penny rools (Sealed by RCM Mint) They were made in very limited numbers and are very hard to find. The non magnetic cents are easy to find in pocket change but not the magnetic ones. the best part is I was able to get these rolls under $3.00 a roll. Something to hold on to.... Alan for
:thumb:Good price$3.00 Alan!!! the last roll sold in RCM wrapper #20,000 for $6150.00.Just for the last Roll!
That was not the last roll.... it was simply the last labelled wrapper, from a large bin of 1 million coins at the RCM production facility in Winnipeg. I also got a roll from that bin, with some random number on it. Here are the last million coins. No one sat there rolling and numbering the coins as they rolled off the press. People paid crazy prices for the sticker, not the coins. I still can't comprehend why that much was spent on what essentially is a holographic sticker. Especially, when for $6000, you can buy a real nice numismatic Canadian rarity...
Man, owls are scary-cool, eh? ... beautiful birds (and super-cool) I may try to track-down that coin (it's callin' me!!)
I hear ya!!! 1st or # rolls and Green Beans too Fools with throw money out to be 1st or last. Why ask why its their $$$$
