    You still got to admit the four basic different reverses on the 1878 Philly are neat. Imagine the conversation:

    Mint director: "We'll get it right one of these days."
    Engraver: "Pass me the bottle....

    i just got this 1883 in gsa today. not a big morgan fan but i love the CC mint. the other is a raw purchase i had graded by pcgs

    I think that's a shame on a glassy surface like that. They must have been in a rush to get this die back in service.

    Another raw dimple! 1880 S/S “UDM” specimen. Though one of the most common DPL dates, price was great and eye appeal even better. I could shave in those mirrors! :headphone::headphone::headphone:
