Its in an NGC GSA as an MS-64. The luster on the obverse is a bit subdued, otherwise I think it would've gotten a 65.

I bought this 1882 O/S Morgan back in 2005 from an east coast coin dealer. It was raw but he said it was MS-60. I finally sent it with my last batch of "Econony" tier coins to be graded with NGC. I think it looks ok at AU-55. 1882 was the year my maternal Grandfather was born
This is one of my favorites...nice luster...I assume that the die came from CC and was retooled to be used at New Orleans??
