Coin Description: The booming luster and exceptional detail are characteristic of this issue, but what sets the present piece apart is the rich plum, cerulean, and orange-gold patina that graces the obverse. The brilliant reverse is a feature of many coins in this collection.
Here's my latest. I mentioned in the "newest acquisitions" thread why I bought this coin. The luster is much stronger in-hand. While not booming, it's there and I'm happy with the purchase. The toning doesn't show well on this coin picture either.
$40,000.00 for this one King of the Morgan dollar's. Just sold. Not to me. Coin World update rreported.
Thanks and I'm not a Morgan fan. I did get a real beauty for my grand son he had mentioned that someone showed him one and he liked it. I'll see if I can find a photo of it.
One thing I know is my half year and my storage fees.I can get that number real quick. It's taxs season. State tax I always have to pay.
I would never crack out a coin in an old white ANACS holder, and when I see one I do take time to check it out
